Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Charles City, IA. The nurse applies the nursing process to deliver patient care with clinical judgment, coordinating care across the team under supervision.

The role is 36 hours per week with travel involvement. Required qualifications include an active RN license for the state, English proficiency, a current health certificate and PPD/Chest X-ray, plus a current BLS card.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Full command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process and deliver patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment with supervision.
• Coordinate patient care and assist others in care management.

Consistently performs according to nursing standards and isaccountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
