Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a staff nurse to provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

Graduate from a recognized nursing program is required; GA RN license or multistate license is required. BCLS is required; ACLS within 6 months; other certifications may be required by unit. New graduates are eligible; 1 year hospital experience is preferred for PRN roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care.
• Keeps standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
