Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care and leadership within the healthcare team. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and adherence to facility standards.

The RN will oversee staff, uphold Service Excellence, and participate in continuous improvement to ensure high-quality patient outcomes across acute care services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or NRP Certification (neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
