Job summary

Heritage Valley Health System seeks a Graduate Nurse or licensed RN to provide professional nursing care in a Medical Surgical Unit. This is a full-time position with 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holidays as required.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program and Pennsylvania licensure (temporary GN permit as needed), with BLS and HR‑106 clearances within 90 days of starting. The role requires practicing under supervision for graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure; other state licensure as required and PA temporary practice permit for GN; licensing exam to be completed within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per the Nurse Practice Act.
• Graduate Nurse will practice under supervision of an experienced registered nurse.
