Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maryland state CNA or GNA certification required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
• No prior experience required; direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under nursing supervision.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Assist with ADLs and activities of daily living.
• Document care and communicate patient status to the care team.
• Support safe lifting, fall prevention and patient safety.
• Participate in hourly rounds and respond to alarms.
