Kaiser Permanente is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for Med/Surg in San Jose, CA. This onsite, full-time role will lead clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position requires RN licensure in California, BLS (ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required), and 2+ years in nursing with leadership experience. BSN preferred; relocation assistance available and bonuses offered.

Formación

• Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as Charge Nurse, Preceptor, or leadership role such as Quality Improvement Champion.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; High school diploma or GED required.
• RN License in California and BLS certification required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required for certain units.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee clinical operations, ensuring adherence to practice standards, staffing, payroll, budgeting, and fiscal management while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Supervise a unit of 20-60+ employees with staff development through action plans to improve patient care and operations.
• Manage staffing based on patient population to optimize outcomes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Supervise unit operations including HR, safety programs, risk management, and quality of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver coordinated, customer-focused care and implement best practices; address patient/family concerns.
