Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Med/Surg Float Pool RN with an active NH or Compact RN license and 1–2 years of Med/Surg experience for a 12-hour day shift float position.

The role covers Tele and Stepdown units, with potential float to Concord Hospital-Laconia and Concord Hospital-Franklin. Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required. Weekly orientation is provided, and local rate eligibility applies for travelers.

Qualifications

• Active NH or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required prior to start.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• 1-2 years Med/Surg experience required.
• Critical Care RN experience considered if candidate is fluent with Med/Surg ratios and acuity.
• Must complete a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%.

Responsibilities

• Float/Resource Pool role covering Tele and Stepdown units.
• 12-hour day shift schedule.
• May float to Concord Hospital-Laconia and Concord Hospital-Franklin.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required.
• Weekly orientation provided.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for local rate.
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service.
• Three professional references required once committed, including two from leadership.
