Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System in Southern Nevada, seeks a CNA to assist the nursing unit with clerical and patient care tasks. You will support planning, organization, and evaluation of unit activities, and help ensure smooth operations in a busy hospital setting.

Requirements include a CNA program, CNA certification, High School diploma, and current BLS. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or equivalent and CNA training with certification.
• CNA certification and current BLS certification required in Nevada.
• Basic PC skills and medical terminology knowledge are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing unit planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of activities.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties as well as patient care/services as defined by state.
• Support nursing staff to ensure efficient patient flow and safety.
