Job summary

Monterey Park Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant for the Med/Surg Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Med/Surg.

The CNA/NA receives assignments from the Charge RN, delivers high-quality basic nursing care, and uses knowledge of the patient's age, development, culture, and spiritual needs to guide care. The role supports safe, quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current CA Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized basic nursing care.
• Receive assignments from the Charge RN and take direction from the RN and/or LVN.
• Contribute to safety and quality nursing care to achieve positive patient outcomes.
