Job summary

Alluraderm in Albuquerque is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our medical aesthetics team. The NP will provide comprehensive aesthetic care, including injectables, laser and light-based treatments, microneedling, skin rejuvenation, and body contouring, while maintaining the highest safety and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years NP experience, NM license, and EMR proficiency; laser/microneedling experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or NP program completed
• Active New Mexico NP license and national certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• 1–3 years of NP experience, preferably in medical aesthetics/dermatology
• Experience with laser treatments and microneedling strongly preferred
• Injectable experience including neurotoxins and dermal fillers preferred
• CoolSculpting/body contouring experience preferred
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, attention to detail, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and within a clinical team
• Proficiency with EMR/clinical software

Responsibilities

• Conduct aesthetic consultations, assess patient goals and medical history, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Education of patients on treatment options, expectations, risks, and aftercare.
• Perform laser and light-based treatments (Fotona, Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, IPL, hair removal, Thermage) based on training.
• Perform SkinPen microneedling and other skin rejuvenation treatments.
• Perform aesthetic injectable treatments (Botox, Jeuveau, Daxxify, dermal fillers).
• Oversee CoolSculpting and other body contouring treatments as appropriate.
• Follow clinical protocols and laser safety standards; obtain informed consent; adhere to NM regulations.
• Provide clinical expertise and medical oversight in aesthetic treatments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and manage adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, aestheticians, and leadership.
• Stay current with advances in injectables, lasers, microneedling, skincare, and related technologies.

Position Overview

The NP will provide comprehensive aesthetic care, including injectables, laser and light-based treatments, microneedling, skin rejuvenation, and body contouring, while providing exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Consultations

• Conduct aesthetic consultations, assess patient goals and medical history, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on treatment options, expectations, risks, and aftercare.

Laser & Microneedling

• Perform laser and light-based treatments, which may include Fotona, Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, photofacial/IPL, laser hair removal, and Thermage, based on training and credentialing.
• Perform SkinPen microneedling and other appropriate skin rejuvenation treatments.

Injectables & Body Contouring

• Perform aesthetic injectable treatments, including Botox, Jeuveau, Daxxify, and dermal fillers.
• Perform and/or oversee CoolSculpting and other body contouring treatments as appropriate.

Patient Safety & Documentation

• Follow established clinical protocols, laser safety standards, informed consent requirements, and applicable New Mexico regulations.
• Medical Oversight: Provide clinical expertise and medical oversight in aesthetic treatments, ensuring all procedures are performed safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate medical records and appropriately manage treatment concerns or adverse reactions.

Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with providers, nurses, aestheticians, and leadership to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Participate in clinical training, education, and practice initiatives.

Professional Development

• Stay current with advances in injectables, lasers, microneedling, skincare, and other aesthetic technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or applicable graduate-level NP education.
• Active New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license and applicable national certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 1–3 years of NP experience, preferably in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or a related specialty.
• Experience with laser treatments and microneedling strongly preferred.
• Injectable experience, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers, preferred.
• CoolSculpting/body contouring experience preferred.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, attention to detail, and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team.
• Proficiency with EMR/clinical software preferred.
