• MD or DO required; board certified or board eligible in specialization.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed medical care including diagnosis, treatment, case management and clinical research.
• Directs and provides direct and indirect patient care services in outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
• Conducts ambulatory clinics and interviews, reviews medical history, and performs physical examinations.
• Orders procedures and diagnostic testing, prescribes treatment plans and medications.
• Documents services in the medical record and educates patients on wellness and prevention.
• Participates in quality assessment, improvement activities and teaching of residents and students.
