Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama is seeking an RN Weekend Charge Nurse to coordinate and evaluate unit activities, mentor staff, and model the nursing process and quality improvements. The role reports to the Nurse Manager and may include additional duties within the department.

This individual is responsible to the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager and will serve as a mentor to the staff. The Charge Nurse shall demonstrate the consistent ability to act as a role model by providing direction in the application of the nursing process, quality improvement standards, and organizational and department goal and objectives in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.**Education / Experience**:Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
