Qualifications

• JD from accredited law school.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing.
• 1-5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.
• A willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team.
• Medical malpractice, healthcare, or other complex litigation experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception to post-trial proceedings.
• Work directly with clients to understand their needs, provide regular case updates, and develop strong professional relationships.
• Appear in court, including hearings, conferences, and other proceedings.
• Participate in arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct and defend depositions, with opportunities to develop and refine your deposition skills.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare, review, and respond to written discovery.
• Conduct legal, medical, and factual research and apply that research to complex litigation issues.
• Work closely with experienced attorneys in preparation for trial, arbitration or mediation.
