Saint Alphonsus Health System's Nampa South Lab is hiring a Part-time Medical Laboratory Scientist to support patient care. The role involves performing tests across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Micro with strict QC and instrument maintenance.
You will rotate to different sections and report results according to protocol. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree with ASCP/AMT certification (or registry eligible within 1 year) and complete medical technology training.

Performs tests related to the diagnosis and treatment of patient by utilizing various medical laboratory procedures in the Clinical Laboratory. Correlates and integrates other patient data when interpreting test results. Uses professional judgment and has an in-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques, scientific principles, quality control, and instrument maintenance. Recognizes problems, identifies causes, and determines alternative methods and solutions.
HOURS: You will enjoy a part-time schedule working three 8-hour days a week that could (or not) include weekends, depending on your availability.
