Job summary

Premier Staffing Solution is seeking an experienced Mechatronics Specialist / Senior Automation & Controls Technician to support highly automated manufacturing operations. The role involves diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, optimizing PLC programs, and supporting robotics and motion control systems.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of automation experience, strong PLC/robotics knowledge (Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, Mitsubishi), and hands-on electrical troubleshooting across 24VDC to 480VAC,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of automation or industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000, RSLogix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix).
• Experience with Fanuc Robotics programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Mitsubishi PLCs & HMIs.
• Toyota/Toyopuc PLC experience preferred.
• Experience with CNC, automated assembly, machining, welding, or material handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex automated manufacturing equipment.
• Modify and optimize Allen-Bradley PLC programs to improve equipment uptime.
• Troubleshoot and recover Fanuc Robotics systems.
• Support Mitsubishi PLCs, HMIs, and Toyopuc/Toyota PLC systems.
• Diagnose and repair industrial sensors including proximity, laser, vision, photoelectric, ultrasonic, and encoder systems.
• Troubleshoot servo drives, motion control systems, VFDs, and industrial communication networks.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting from 24VDC to 480VAC.
• Support commissioning, startup, and continuous improvement projects.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and support production, engineering, and quality teams.
