Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Wilmington, IL for the on-site Operations Maintenance team. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging systems, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

The role requires 2+ years in MHE repair, 2+ years in predictive and preventative maintenance, and a high school diploma. Travel up to 20% may be required, with shifts up to 12 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years in predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lb and stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift.
