Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an Inductive Automation Sys QA Engineer for a 12-month contract in Cupertino, CA. The role combines mechanical CAD fixture design with software automation to build and bring up automated test stations for wireless charging systems.

You will work on end-to-end test benches, integrating actuators with Python-based testing harnesses and debug across hardware, firmware, and host software layers.

Formación

• BS in ME, Mechatronics, EE, CS or equivalent with 3+ years testing electromechanical/embedded systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD for fixture/jig design (NX/SolidWorks).
• Strong Python skills; experience with test frameworks and lab hardware control.

Responsabilidades

• Mechanical bring-up: design in 3D CAD and build fixtures.
• Software automation: develop Python-based test frameworks for lab instrumentation.
• Bench integration: deploy end-to-end test benches with actuators and software harnesses.
• Validation & execution: run automated tests across inductive charging setups.
• Issue characterization: root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware and software.
