Job summary

Palermo’s Pizza Manufacturing is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to install, service and maintain production and packaging equipment. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, adjust drives and controls, and coordinate with vendors for preventive maintenance.

The role requires 1–3 years of mechanical experience, an associate degree or technical certification, and the ability to read machine prints and manuals. On-site work with safety-focused environment and documented logs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification preferred or willing to pursue schooling in a mechanical field.
• 1–3 years of mechanical experience.
• Experience with processing/packaging equipment in the food industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, rebuild, and maintain production and packaging machinery and equipment across the plant.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults quickly to reduce downtime.
• Diagnose and correct PLCs, VFDs, servos, robotics, and other programmable devices.
• Rebuild machines, align bearings, spindles, and shafts; select and install parts.
• Support machine moves and installs, dismantle and erect equipment, level and align.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain maintenance logs.
• Complete building and facility maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow safety procedures.
