The organization specializes in advanced servo actuators, gearing technologies, and integrated motion solutions for high‑performance applications.

Position Summary

The Mechatronics Engineer will contribute to the full lifecycle of actuator and motion system development, including gear systems, motors, sensors, and system‑level performance verification. This role requires strong CAD proficiency (SolidWorks), hands‑on engineering capability, and the ability to collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
  • Lead electro‑mechanical design efforts from concept through production, including detailed manufacturing and customer drawings.
  • Integrate components such as actuators, motors, gears, bearings, sensors, connectors, servo drives, and controllers into complete systems.
  • Develop components and assemblies for complex electromechanical products.
  • Apply GD&T and SolidWorks best practices to ensure manufacturability and accuracy.
Testing, Analysis & Documentation
  • Perform system‑level and component‑level troubleshooting, testing, and performance verification.
  • Create test procedures, assembly instructions, and technical reports to validate customer requirements.
  • Participate in root‑cause investigations and corrective‑action analyses.
  • Maintain engineering documentation in accordance with established control practices.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work with purchasing and manufacturing teams to source components and build accurate BOMs within the ERP system.
  • Communicate clearly with sales, customers, and vendors to ensure technical alignment.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge‑sharing.
  • Support continuous improvement of engineering processes and development workflows.
Technical Leadership
  • Provide technical guidance on electromechanical design challenges.
  • Manage multiple engineering projects and daily tasks effectively.
  • Promote innovation, creativity, and a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Strong electromechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Creative problem‑solving skills with a focus on manufacturability and cost‑effective design.
  • SolidWorks proficiency, including GD&T and understanding of manufacturing/inspection capabilities.
  • Familiarity with engineering documentation control.
  • Experience with electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters) is a plus.
  • Hands‑on assembly experience (mechanical/electrical, soldering, crimping) is beneficial.
  • Ability to generate clear, accurate technical reports.
  • Programming experience (Python, LabVIEW) and servo drive commissioning are pluses.
  • Experience with servo drives (e.g., Copley, Elmo, Mitsubishi, Yaskawa, Siemens, Bosch Rexroth) is advantageous.
  • Networking familiarity (EtherCAT®, CANopen®) is a plus.
  • Experience with PCB design, robotics, or automated machinery is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time‑management and project‑management abilities.
  • Self‑directed, results‑driven, and committed to high‑quality work.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with appreciation for product performance and reliability.
  • Professional office setting with regular use of computers, phones, and lab‑based test equipment.
  • Frequent movement between office and engineering lab areas.
  • Requires clear verbal and written communication and the ability to perform detailed visual work.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular communication, computer use, and movement throughout office and lab spaces.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
Education & Experience
  • 4–8 years of experience in industrial product design and development.
