Job summary

Strativ Group in San Francisco is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to design, build and deploy advanced robotic and electromechanical systems for large-scale industrial applications.

You will own hardware integration from concept through prototyping, testing and deployment, collaborating with mechanical, electrical and software teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in mechatronics, robotics, mechanical engineering or a related hardware-focused discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience integrating mechanical, electrical and software systems, ideally within robotics, automation or autonomous machinery.
• Proficiency in CAD, prototyping, electromechanical design and hardware testing, with an understanding of motors, actuators and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic and electromechanical systems, taking hardware from initial concept through prototyping, testing and deployment.
• Integrate mechanical mechanisms, actuators, motors, sensors and control systems into reliable robotic platforms.
• Work closely with mechanical, electrical and software engineers to develop, troubleshoot and optimise complex systems.
• Build, test and iterate on hardware, taking ownership of system performance, reliability and continuous improvement.
