Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to design and integrate electro-mechanical systems at our Kingston, NY site.

The role involves developing battery system technology, PCB layouts, firmware, and PLC-based controls for Huck products, with emphasis on sensor integration and industrial communications. The candidate will work across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic domains, performing testing, diagnostics, and system validation.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of engineering experience in electro-mechanical systems, industrial controls, automation, or related.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM and computer technology.
• Knowledge of FEA software and electrical circuits.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electro-mechanical systems and equipment.
• Develop and modify PCB designs, including schematic capture, layout, and verification.
• Program and troubleshoot microprocessors and embedded control systems, including firmware development.
