Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechatronic Apprentice to join our Global Workplace Solutions team in Michigan.

The program offers extensive paid training combining 9 weeks of classroom instruction with on-the-job learning, preparing participants for roles as Maintenance or Controls Technicians. Participants gain experience across safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and hands-on repair of automated packaging and distribution systems with opportunities for advancement after 6 months of

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in United States without visa sponsorship
• High school diploma or GED
• 12-week in-person paid training
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
• Ability to solve problems and follow standard instructions
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform climbing and walking

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Document and complete preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed
