Job summary

Keystone Compliance, a regulatory compliance test lab in New Castle, PA, is seeking a Mechanical Test Technician. The role involves hands-on environmental and mechanical testing, operating electrodynamic shakers, thermal and humidity chambers, and developing test fixtures.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of relevant experience, is comfortable with MS Office, can lift up to 75 lbs, and can work independently while adhering to safety and ITAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of relevant testing experience.
• Experience with environmental and mechanical testing is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; ITAR compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Environmental and Mechanical Testing: test components and assemblies under vibration, thermal cycling, humidity, altitude, corrosion, ingress protection, and more.
• Set up and operate test equipment such as electrodynamic shakers, thermal and humidity chambers.
• Fabricate and maintain test fixtures for accurate testing.
• Collect and analyze data; report findings to engineers and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot test setups and ensure reliable operation of equipment.
• Maintain test equipment through calibration and routine servicing.
• Ensure safety and compliance with standards during testing.
• Assist in preparing test reports and data logs for documentation.
