Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is building a product test lab in Etters, Pennsylvania to support qualification and engineering tests. We are seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to lead mechanical and environmental evaluation of connector products from development through qualification.

You will design fixtures and test methods, manage test setup, calibration, and data analysis, and collaborate with lab technicians and cross-functional teams to ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years in product testing or mechanical design validation.
Experience with Instron or similar test systems preferred.
Ability to design fixtures and read GD&T.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Translate product requirements into documented test plans.
Own test setup, fixtures, equipment, calibration, and data collection.
Analyze data, write qualification reports, and communicate results.
Plan schedules and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Develop mechanical qualification plans for various tests.
Ensure lab safety and data quality.
