CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate at our West Point, VA facility. You’ll inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet CarMax’s safety and reliability standards, from engines to suspensions, using modern tools and ongoing training.

Join a collaborative team in a climate-controlled shop and gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles while earning an hourly wage and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for external hires.

Formación

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and ASE certifications where required.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax’s high standards for quality and safety.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to solve technical challenges quickly and effectively.
• Gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.
