Actalent is seeking an R&D Mechanical Technician in Tacoma, WA to build and develop custom automation equipment from early-stage builds through final testing. You will use strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and the ability to operate with minimal direction.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, collaborating with engineering teams, assisting with machine bring-up and validation, and providing feedback on drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on mechanical assembly or build experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience with mechanical systems and assemblies.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools.
• Basic exposure to electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with limited instruction.
• Adaptability to changing designs and priorities.

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
