Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking skilled automotive technicians to join our Augusta, GA team. You will diagnose, repair, and test vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, and suspensions, using modern diagnostic equipment. Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have an advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under company insurance policy.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management, and the ability to adapt easily to fast-paced environment.
  • ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunctions.
  • Test drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic equipment.
  • Repair, align, replace, and adjust brake systems and perform vehicle alignments.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
  • Repair and/or replace engine components, brake systems, steering and air bag systems.
  • Perform other related duties to ensure an efficient and effective repair.

Responsibilities

Physical & Environmental

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, and is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk occasionally for long periods at a time.
