Job summary

Electra is seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer II in Boulder, CO, to design and support mechanical systems across pilot and commercial facilities. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to develop practical solutions for unique challenges in the clean iron production process.

This role requires at least 2 years of engineering experience, a relevant degree, and proficiency in CAD. The compensation is between $85,000 and $105,000, alongside comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electromechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial process or plant environments.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and support mechanical systems within defined subsystems.
• Develop layouts, equipment lists, and drawing packages.
• Translate process flow diagrams into practical mechanical designs.
