The AMES Companies in Ocala, FL is seeking a Mechanical Specialist for a Monday - Friday night shift (2:15 pm - 10:45 pm) to support our 600,000 square feet ClosetMaid facility. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment and support systems, and troubleshoot basic electrical issues to keep operations running smoothly.
You will work under maintenance leadership, contribute to a safe work environment, and collaborate with a team to meet production needs.
Mechanical Specialist | Monday - Friday 2:15 pm - 10:45 pm (Architecture)
The Mechanical Specialist I is responsible for performing industrial mechanical maintenance and basic electrical repairs on production equipment and support systems. This role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies. Working under the direction of maintenance leadership, the Mechanical Specialist I plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, supporting production needs, and contributing to a safe, team-oriented work environment.
In our ClosetMaid Ocala facility. A 600,000 square feet manufacturing and distribution facility.

6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Overtime when/if needed)
