S&C Electric Company is seeking a Mechanical Quality Technologist to inspect and test mechanical assemblies and components in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure compliance with drawings, BOMs, and quality standards, document results, and support process improvements.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, knowledge of ISO 9001, and proficiency with precision measuring tools. You will work with production teams to maintain quality and safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Ability to read part drawings, BOMs, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical subassemblies, final assemblies, and fixtures for compliance with specs.
• Verify tolerances and correct assembly procedures.
• Interpret drawings and BOMs to ensure design/production alignment.
• Document inspection results and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and support process improvements.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
