The Mechanical Quality Control Specialist is a project-based Mechanical QC position supporting a 5-month federal construction project for Hill AFB, Utah.
The majority of the work is performed in an indoor/outdoor setting with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
An individual will be required to perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions. Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and /or up to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects is required. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices. Occasional travel.
Salary range for this position is $40.00-$65.00 per hour. Exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location.
