Job summary

Integra is seeking an experienced QA Mechanical Engineer in Houston, TX to ensure mechanical systems and products meet stringent specifications and standards. You will develop inspection processes, lead failure investigations, and work cross-functionally to improve product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• 2+ years of mechanical engineering or QA experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and GD&T is essential.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and QA tools (SPC, FMEA, PPAP, control plans).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and validate mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems against ASME, AWS, ASTM standards.
• Develop and implement QA inspection procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Lead root cause analysis for defects and manage CAPA.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Verify supplier quality for incoming materials and components.
• Maintain QA documentation including inspection reports and test data.
• Support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical codes and safety regulations.
