Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Management Intern to work closely with the Project Management team within the mechanical division to gain industry knowledge and advance in the company.

The ideal candidate should be proficient with a PC and the Microsoft Office Suite. The role includes assisting with planning and staffing electrical and/or specialty systems projects, visiting jobsites, reviewing estimates, coordinating with vendors, attending meetings, and handling paperwork.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited institution and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
  • No prior work experience required, but relevant coursework or internships are advantageous.
  • Travel 15-20% and flexible schedule are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, organizing, and staffing electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects.
  • Visit jobsites and interact with crew, customers, foremen, and general contractors.
  • Review portions of outgoing estimates with Estimating Department for accuracy.
  • Contact vendors to obtain materials for construction projects.
  • Attend weekly and monthly meetings (Staffing, PM, Sales, etc.).
  • Process miscellaneous paperwork.

The Project Management Internis responsible for working closely with Project Management within our mechanical division on assigned projects so as to enhance the Intern’s industry knowledge and career progression with the Company. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Enrolled in an accredited institution and actively working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering

Experience: No previous work experience is required. However, relevant coursework, academic projects, or prior internships related to construction or project management will be advantageous.

Travel: 15-20%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists with the planning, organizing, and staffing of electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects.
  • Visits various jobsites and interacts with crew, customers, foreman, and general contractors.
  • Reviews assigned portions of assigned outgoing estimates with Estimating Department to ensure accuracy.
  • Contacts vendors to obtain materials for construction projects.
  • Attends weekly and monthly meetings (i.e., Staffing Meeting, Project Manager Meeting, Sales Meeting, etc.).
  • Processes miscellaneous paperwork.
