Job summary

Gilbert Mechanical is hiring a Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee installation of mechanical systems in commercial and industrial buildings. You will support estimating, design, and project management, collaborating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience in mechanical construction, HVAC, piping, plumbing, or project management will be considered.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM coordination, or related design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and develop proposals for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical construction projects.
• Support design-build projects by coordinating mechanical system design, equipment selection, constructability reviews, and project execution.
• Assist project managers from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout.
• Help direct and supervise project activities to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure projects are completed to the customer's satisfaction.
