Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in Orlando is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead engineering design for HVAC building systems on research, healthcare, and higher education facilities.

You will translate client needs into innovative, energy-efficient solutions and guide the discipline team through the project lifecycle. The role prefers candidates with a BS mechanical or aerospace engineering, PE registration, and proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE or equivalent engineering degree with applicable experience.
• 10+ years designing HVAC building systems for research, healthcare or higher education facilities.
• PE registration preferred.

As a Mechanical Project Engineerin our Orlando region, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

In this role, you will be responsible for engineering design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. You will develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client and project partner’s needs, and leads the discipline team in implementing the solutions. This position can be a remote opportunity with travel to client sites as needed.

Expertise of our most successful Mechanical Project Engineer:

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
• 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
