Job summary

Baker Hughes in the United States is seeking an Engineer, Product Design and Engineering - Mechanical to drive design, evaluation, and delivery of power transmission products. You will apply mechanical engineering principles, perform analyses, and collaborate with manufacturing and customer teams to meet deadlines with high quality.

You should have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, authorization to work in the US without sponsorship, and strong skills in 3D modeling (Creo preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Proficient in 3D modeling; Creo experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute design, analysis, and evaluation activities for power transmission projects.
• Apply engineering calculations to design industrial power transmission products.
• Develop new power transmission solutions under guidance.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Communicate deadlines, needs, risks, and outcomes clearly.
• Deliver engineering designs and bills of materials on time and with quality.
• Support manufacturing during builds to ensure design intent.
