Job summary

Avantor is seeking a production assembler to join our manufacturing team. Under supervision, you will assemble mechanical units and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, ensure lines run to schedule, and monitor quality of products and materials.

You will perform line changes, assist with maintenance, and help document production data in a safe, compliant environment. The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related experience in a manufacturing facility preferred, ideally a chemical plant.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability with strong math, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• RCRA Training required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools.
• Set up lines, perform line changes, and ensure production schedule adherence.
• Monitor quality of products and raw materials; coordinate with QA as needed.
• Take bulk samples from railcars/trucks and deliver to QC lab; document results.
• Maintain accurate production records and keep work area clean and safe.
