Mechanical National Lead – Onsite Energy & Power (Multiple Locations)
Responsible for leadership of the OSEP Mechanical discipline nationwide across Mechanical solutions, coordination, and best practices. The successful candidate will provide oversight and develop mechanical capabilities to support portfolio growth.
Responsibilities
- Direct most significant programs and leverage collaboration to arrive at best solutions and delivery practices.
- Organize, lead, and inspire collaboration across all OSEP Mechanical teams, building a professional community.
- Recruit, hire, and develop mechanical capability expectations and leadership across the organization.
- Develop market differentiating solutions that drive project value and increase competitiveness.
- Expand delivery practices for delivery assurance and continuous cost improvement through mechanisms such as high‑value engineering centers and automation.
- Serve with the OSEP leadership team to interpret corporate policies and goals for staff.
- Recommend structural changes to ensure fulfillment of objectives.
- Facilitate the OSEP Mechanical resources meeting to ensure cost‑effective utilization of staff.
- Develop, manage department‑wide training.
- Coordinate with other GFS lane Mechanical Discipline Leads to develop an overall synergistic GFS Mechanical Team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of related professional experience, with demonstrated technical mechanical engineering leadership across major projects/programs/clients, including all GFS business lanes.
- Excellent oral and written communication with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to influence, lead, and develop the organization.
- Strong business management skills and a strategic perspective.
- Professional license as a Mechanical Engineer.
