Job summary

Unilever is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to develop and optimize preventive maintenance programs in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will monitor PM compliance, manage critical spare parts, and analyze failures to drive root cause improvements.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, SHE, and Engineering to improve asset performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. A strong analytical mindset and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronics or industrial engineering.
  • 3–5 years of maintenance engineering experience in FMCG/manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and spare parts management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs and schedules.
  • Monitor PM compliance and ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
  • Manage critical spare parts inventory, stock levels, and replenishment.
  • Analyze equipment failures and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.
  • Track and report maintenance KPIs including Breakdown %, PM Compliance, MTBF, MTTR, and costs.
  • Support shutdown planning and major maintenance activities.
  • Develop maintenance standards, SOPs, and technical documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, SHE, and Engineering teams to improve asset performance.

What Will Be Your Main Responsibilities:

What You Need to Succed

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering within FMCG or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and spare parts management.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CMMS is preferred.
  • Utilities systems knowledge (Steam, Compressed Air, Refrigeration, Water -Treatment, etc.) is a plus.
