Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. seeks a Mechanical Lead to ensure project assembly functions are executed properly, within budget and on time under the direction of the assembly supervisor and/or Leadman.

You will lead small to medium sized groups, train and mentor new personnel, manage shop assembly activities through daily and weekly work plans, and maintain project status reports. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, reading drawings, P&IDs, and safety standards is required with emphasis on continuous

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly in a similar environment.
  • Proven ability to interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and P&IDs
  • Experience using basic shop equipment (hand tools, torque wrenches, power tools)
  • Basic Computer Literacy (MS Excel / ERP systems)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet production schedules
  • Capable of communicating clearly and effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments

Position Overview

EDUCATION & TRAINING
  • High school diploma
Minimum Requirements

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Ability to exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to outside environmental conditions.
