Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions in Deerfield Beach, FL is offering an Entry-level Internship for summer 2027. Interns will work full-time for about 12 weeks, with a hybrid schedule allowing up to 3 days from home and a mentorship in engineering drafting.

You will apply your ABET-accredited mechanical or architectural engineering education to real projects, learning Revit drafting, modeling, and HVAC/plumbing system design under experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering.
• Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
• Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2027.
• Computer software knowledge or ability to learn, as appropriate (Revit, IES VE, etc.).

Responsibilities

• The intern will work at applying academic education to assigned tasks on real projects of all sizes and types from concept to completion of construction.
• They are provided on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers to learn the basics of Revit drafting / modeling and mechanical design of HVAC and plumbing systems.
