Job summary

Dematic is seeking skilled Mechanical Installers to join a growing team. You will work on diverse customer projects nationwide, with 100% travel to customer sites. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with 2–5 years’ experience in installing and maintaining conveyor equipment.

A valid driver’s license is essential for site access and travel. Technical training is a plus, and you will coordinate with site supervision, foremen, and other team members to complete tasks to high quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred but not required.
• 2–5 years experience installing/maintaining conveyor equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in conveyor system layout, pre-assembly, header steel installation, platform and structural steel erection, guard rails and air piping.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict safety for yourself and others on site.
• Complete mechanical installation tasks within time and quality requirements as directed by site supervision.
• Follow directions from site supervisor/foreman and provide support as needed.
• Be prepared to travel to customer sites nationwide (100%).

Dematic is seeking talented Mechanical Installers. Be a part of a growing team at Dematic! In this position you will have the opportunity to work on different customer projects and locations. The employee may be based anywhere in the continental USA, however, must be willing to travel 100% to customer locations.

We offer:

• Take personal responsibility for safety and the safety of others around
• Complete assigned Mechanical in tasks within allotted time and high quality as assigned by site supervision
• Take direction from the site supervisor or foreman
• Provide support to the site supervisor and foreman
• Travel 100% to customer sites within the USA
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Push, pull, squat, crawl and walk around large construction sites in various climates and environments

Tasks and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; Technical degree or specialized training preferred but not required
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Experience in conveyor system layout, component pre-assembly, header steel installation, platform and structural steel erection, conveyor installation, guard rail, rack, air piping, detailing and run-in of installed equipment
