Responsibilities include ensuring safety procedures are followed, maintaining a clean work area, performing receipt and in-process inspections on materials, documenting inspection results, and verifying calibration status of inspection tools. Familiarity with basic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures is required, along with proficiency in their use. The role also involves reviewing Certified Material Test Reports, verifying conformance to purchase orders, recording time on proper forms, and performing audits/surveillances as required.

Desirable Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 1 year experience in dimensional inspections and use of measuring tools; understanding of GDT (Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
