Job summary

WRS - Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced HVAC & Plumbing Estimator for a well-established mechanical contractor in Fort Worth, TX. You will take projects from plans and specifications through takeoff, pricing and final bid, working closely with the estimating and field teams to own your estimates.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial mechanical estimating (HVAC and plumbing), strong plan-reading abilities, and proficiency with Excel and estimating software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical estimating experience, ideally across HVAC and plumbing.
• Strong ability to read plans/specs and build complete mechanical estimates.
• Experience with QuickPen or Trimble is a big plus.
• Comfortable with material, equipment, labor and subcontractor pricing.
• Able to manage multiple bids and deadlines without things falling through the cracks.
• Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and mechanical construction.

Responsibilities

• Estimate commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from plans and specs through takeoff, pricing and final bid.
• Collaborate with estimating and field teams and own your estimates as they progress.

We’re working with an established mechanical contractor looking to add an experienced HVAC & Plumbing Estimator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows commercial mechanical estimating and wants to step into a stable company with a strong reputation and long-term work.

The role will focus on commercial HVAC and plumbing estimating, taking projects from plans and specifications through takeoff, pricing, and final bid. You’ll work closely with the estimating and field teams and have the opportunity to take ownership of your estimates rather than simply handling one piece of the process.

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical estimating experience, ideally across HVAC and plumbing
• Strong ability to read plans/specs and build complete mechanical estimates
• Experience with QuickPen / Trimble is a big plus
