Blue Origin in the United States is seeking a Ground System Fluid/Mechanical Engineer II to contribute to all aspects of test stand design across the full system lifecycle. You will design fluid and structural systems for test facilities and support supplier coordination.
The role offers opportunities to work with senior engineers, apply ASME codes, and participate in PAR readiness, with relocation support and travel between facilities.

Job Description Summary: Applies standard engineering techniques to design, install, modify, analyze, repair and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. Development, release, and support of engineering artifacts across the development cycle to support hardware fabrication, assembly, verification, test and operations. Implements operating procedures, resolves system malfunctions, and provides technical information. Researches and analyzes customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. Specifies system components or directs modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Investigates equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and makes recommendations to maintenance crew.
As part of a dynamic and dedicated team of Mechanical and Fluid Engineers, you will play a crucial role in developing systems to test rocket engines, components, and integrated space flight vehicles. As a Ground System Fluid/Mechanical Engineer II, you will contribute to all aspects of test stand design across the full system lifecycle — designing fluid and structural systems for test facilities, supporting supplier coordination, and helping bring new test systems from concept through commissioning.
