Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Excel proficiency required.
• BIW or TCF/GA experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile cost estimates for parts and equipment as a basis for pricing.
• Interpret engineering layouts and data for accurate estimates.
• Maintain knowledge of Detroit auto industry suppliers for design and manufacturing.
• Estimate labor hours for mechanical/electrical design, fabrication, piping, assembly, and testing.
• Develop proposals and budget estimates if a project is pursued.
• Coordinate with project services to translate estimates into budgets.
