Job summary

Kauai Coffee Company seeks a Mechanical Equipment Shop Supervisor (Salaried) to lead our equipment shop on Kauai. You will oversee mobile maintenance, scheduling, budgeting, and safety compliance, ensuring high reliability and productivity across departments.

The role requires strong ICE mechanic background, supervisory experience, and a focus on preventive maintenance and parts procurement. Relocation stipend may be offered for non-Kauai residents.

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 5 years experience as certified ICE Mechanic and mobile equipment service and maintenance.
• College degree or certification program in automotive engineering or related field preferred.
• Must possess strong organizational, administrative, personnel and overall communication skills.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Expertise in gasoline engines, diesel engines, hydraulics, electronics/electrical, PM/Work Order programs and the ordering and purchasing of parts.
• Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Must have a driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develops, organizes, coordinates, plans and implements procedures and practices for all mobile equipment maintenance and repairs.

• Works closely with all departments to optimize productions and maintenance schedules to ensure highest level of overall performance, reliability and workforce productivity.
• Responsible for archiving all equipment data including nameplate information, repair history and mechanical safety device testing; implements corrective, predictive and preventive maintenance programs to ensure the highest level of equipment availability.
• Responsible for preparing and adhering to annual operating and capital budgets; orders and purchases parts, equipment and supplies and processes invoices.
• Knowledgeable of and complies with all Federal, State, Local and Company safety, health and environmental regulations; provides a safe working environment for all employees to minimize accidents and their related impacts and costs.
• Responsible for compliance with company rules and policies and with the Company/Union Collective Bargaining Agreement to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
• Assists in building a health, team-oriented work environment to ensure continued success of Kauai Coffee Company, LLC.
• Supervise equipment shop personnel ensuring performance, work quality and adherence to Kauai Coffee Company, LLC's RISE standards and house rules.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Salary & Benefits

The starting range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 DOE. This position may offer a modest stipend to assist with relocation/onboarding expenses for candidates not currently residing on Kauai.
