Job summary

BS in Mechanical Engineering with 15+ years of relevant experience; MS preferred; on-site only with relocation assistance if needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 15 years relevant experience minimum.
• Experience in design and analysis of electro-optical systems for military/aerospace applications.
• Experience in design of thermal control systems, packaging of electronics, precision mechanisms, and sealed enclosures.
• Expertise in Creo software.
• Experience with ANSYS software a plus.

Currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to partner with the Global Leader in Laser and Electro-Optics for the DoD, Aerospace and NASA customer. Advanced Lasers, Lidars and Laser Communication Systems are all areas of expertise!

Onsite Requirements: Position to be performed onsite in Herndon, VA at company Headquarters.
