Job summary

Strata-G, LLC is seeking skilled Mechanical Engineers to manage the full lifecycle of mechanical products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into reliable, manufacturable hardware systems.

You will design and model with CAD tools, run mechanical analyses, prototype and test, and support production from concept to documentation. This role requires 3–5 years of experience and a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools and typical engineering analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Design and modeling of mechanical components using CAD software.
  • Perform analysis including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations.
  • Prototype, test, and troubleshoot designs; support production.
  • Prepare documentation, BOMs, and design reports; ensure manufacturability.

Job Summary

****We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineers to manage the full lifecycle of our mechanical products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concept designs into reliable, manufacturable, and functional hardware systems.

Core Responsibilities
  • Design & Modeling: Create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using CAD software like SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Analysis & Simulation: Perform engineering calculations, stress tests, thermal analyses, and fluid dynamics simulations.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Build and test physical prototypes to evaluate performance, troubleshoot flaws, and validate designs.
  • Production Support: Oversee the manufacturing process, coordinate with vendors, and ensure designs are optimized for fabrication.
  • Documentation: Write technical manuals, prepare design reports, and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOM).
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Years of experience: 3-5 yrs experience.
  • Software: Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational grasp of mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science.
  • Problem Solving: Advanced analytical skills to diagnose machinery failures and implement root-cause fixes.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work alongside electrical engineers, project managers, and suppliers.
Additional Requirement
  • Q clearance preferred.
