IMEG is hiring a Mechanical Engineering New Graduate in Raleigh, NC to work closely with experienced engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions and advice to clients. This entry-level role offers hands‑on design, analysis, and project execution experience supporting mechanical systems for the vertical building industry. In this role, you will support project planning, scheduling, documentation, quality control, and multidisciplinary coordination while working within project budgets and client expectations. You will contribute to education and government/municipal projects while supporting high‑performance, energy‑efficient design aligned with MEP2050 and AIA2030.
Service mix is grounded in community colleges, K‑12, municipal facilities, public safety, and small‑to‑mid‑sized civic renovations, with many assignments built around core MEP delivery. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing recur across schools, county/city buildings, EMS or fire facilities, and clinic projects, with some jobs clearly led by a single discipline such as mechanical or electrical. They also support housing, recreation, religious/commercial projects, and a fair amount of assessment or study work, with fire protection, commissioning, energy modeling, security, and AV appearing on larger efforts. Overall, the portfolio suggests a team that is especially strong in practical, renovation‑heavy civic and education work across North Carolina.
